Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2026
These Terms govern your use of TrustDepth (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. The Service
TrustDepth provides automated safety scores and human-submitted reviews for public websites, generated from public data sources. Scores are informational only — see the Disclaimer for limits.
2. Acceptable use
- Don't abuse the Service (bulk automated scraping, denial-of-service, etc.).
- Don't submit reviews that are defamatory, harassing, unlawful, or that infringe others' rights.
- Don't attempt to impersonate TrustDepth or its reviewers.
- Respect rate limits and robots signals we publish.
3. User-submitted reviews
You retain ownership of reviews you submit and grant TrustDepth a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to display, format and distribute them as part of the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your reviews. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
4. Website-owner requests
If you own or represent a website featured on TrustDepth and believe its score or a review is factually incorrect, contact us using the Contact page. We evaluate every request but do not guarantee any specific outcome; scores are generated from independent public data.
5. Intellectual property
The TrustDepth brand, design, code and databases are owned by TrustDepth. Automated safety data derived from third-party sources (Google Safe Browsing, URLhaus, PhishTank, etc.) is used under their respective terms.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that scores are accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. See the Disclaimer.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrustDepth is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Direct damages, if any, are limited to the greater of USD 50 or the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (which for the free tier is $0).
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms or for operational reasons.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's country of residence, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes are resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
